Gurjeet has a Master’s Degree in Applied psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Parental Education. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counselors, Psychometrics and Psychotherapists. Gurjeet is also a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

Gurjeet has 15 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents and children in a variety of settings. She operates from a client-centered approach, tailoring the therapy to the individual needs of each client and focusing on their strengths. She incorporates a variety of treatment approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, hypnotherapy and mindfulness, in order to help her clients discover underlying issues within themselves and develop strategies for dealing with those issues in order to move forward with their lives.

Her genuine approach helps her clients build easy rapport and inculcate a sense of warmth and trust. Gurjeet’s supportive and engaging style encourages a strong working relationship with clients. She has a passion to help create a difference in people’s lives. She creates a safe environment for her clients where she helps them to discover their strengths, gain insight over their current challenges and achieve their goals. This leads to clients feeling more in control of their lives and more confident to manage their problems both now and in the future.
